Jr. Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance & Operations to join
our growing team in Oakland. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to
gain hands-on exposure to corporate finance, financial modeling, investor reporting, and operational execution in a
fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is analytically driven, proficient in Excel, and eager to
develop a strong foundation in finance and business operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate
financial systems, managing data integrity, supporting investor diligence, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cap Table & Equity Management: Maintain and update capitalization tables and equity records using Carta, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Modeling: Update and refine the company’s financial models to support budgeting, forecasting,
    valuation, and scenario analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) derived
    from the financial model.
  • Invoicing & Receivables: Prepare and issue customer invoices, track payments, and assist with reconciliation
    and reporting.
  • Due Diligence Support: Coordinate financial and operational materials for investor, partner, and audit due
    diligence processes.
  • Data Room Management: Maintain and organize the company’s data room, ensuring up-to-date, complete,
    and investor-ready documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Support automation, data accuracy, and reporting efficiency within finance and
    operations workflows.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior finance, operations, and commercial teams to align
    on metrics, capital planning, and performance tracking.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, business analytics, or related areas.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups).
  • Understanding financial statements, accounting fundamentals, and corporate finance principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data integrity and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and eager to grow within a high-performance environment.

Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
