Promaxo, a medical technology startup, has been selected as a 2019 TiE50 Winner in the TiE50 Awards Program. The award recognizes the company’s innovative MRI platform designed to enable live diagnosis and treatment in a physician’s office.
Amit Vohra, Promaxo’s President & CEO, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating: “We are excited and humbled to accept this award and to be recognized among the top innovators.” He emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing patient care through customer-focused MRI solutions.
The TiE50 competition, now in its tenth year, is part of TiEcon, described as the world’s largest conference for technology entrepreneurs. This year’s competition received entries from diverse industries including AI, autonomous vehicles, FinTech, medical devices, and robotics.
According to Kamal Anand, TiE50 Program Chair, the program maintains “the highest level of integrity and vigorous screening and judging by domain experts.” Awards were presented on May 11th during TiEcon at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
