Promaxo Holdings, Inc., a medical imaging, robotics, and AI technology company, announced the sale of 20 systems in the third quarter ending September 30, 2023. System sales were distributed across physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and integrated delivery network facilities.
Notable purchasers included Summit Health (two systems), University Urology Associates of New Jersey (two systems), Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona (two systems), and Rhode Island Hospital (their first system).
The company achieved significant growth momentum, selling 52 systems through the first nine months of 2023 compared to 13 systems in the prior year period. Since commercial launch in Q4 2021, Promaxo has sold 77 total systems across 26 states.
CEO Dr. Amit Vohra emphasized the company’s execution: “We saw sustained momentum in the adoption of the Promaxo system, as well as continued growth in the utilization of systems already placed in service.”
The Promaxo MRI system is FDA-cleared for in-office use and guides prostate interventions using AI-based imaging technology. The Oakland-based company is backed by over 200 patents and focuses on minimally-invasive medical solutions.
