Promaxo Holdings, Inc., a medical imaging, robotics, and AI technology company based in Oakland, California, announced it sold 69 systems throughout 2023 — exceeding its 60-system target and nearly tripling the 23 systems sold in 2022. These systems were distributed to physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and integrated delivery network facilities.

Dr. Amit Vohra, Founder and CEO, stated: “With full year 2023 sales of 69 systems ahead of our target 60 systems and up from 23 systems sold in the year ago period, we capped 2023 on positive momentum, fueling our expectations for strong, steady growth in 2024.”

The company’s portable MRI system, FDA-cleared for in-office use, enables practices and hospitals to guide prostate interventions. Vohra noted the system has been applied for cryotherapy and IRE treatment modalities across multiple ASC and office settings. He attributed growth to strategic investments in sales and marketing, plus favorable reimbursement and increased system utilization for screening and therapeutic applications.
